What You'll Do:

• Fabricate coping, counterflashing, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, scuppers, collector heads, and custom trim
• Read and work from roof plans, shop drawings, and field measurements
• Run brakes, shears, slitters, and seamers (hand and power)
• Machinery includes Berridge, Schechtl, and Tinknocker
• Lay out and fabricate transitions, miters, and custom pieces
• Install metal on commercial and multifamily roofing projects as needed
• Keep the shop organized, inventory materials, and maintain equipment
• Work with project managers and crews to meet production schedules

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of architectural sheet metal experience (commercial roofing preferred)
• Working knowledge of SMACNA standards and good flashing details
• Experience with Kynar/painted steel, aluminum, copper, and galvanized
• Ability to measure accurately and fabricate to tight tolerances
• Comfortable working at heights and in Texas weather
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Lo Que Harás

Key Roles:

• Transactional Accounting Maintain daily bank feeds and deposits, reconcile credit card transactions via Concur, assist with accounts payable and receivable

• Financial Controller Support Provide direct support to the Financial Controller. This includes month end activities (account reconciliations, record accruals, prepaids, fixed asset entries, payroll journal entries, and revenue recognition adjustments). Additional areas of support include tracking and remitting sales tax, working with project managers on project Work in Progress (WIP) reporting, tracking and reporting key metrics, and other support as assigned.

• Reporting & Communication Provide weekly work summaries to ownership, maintain workpaper documentation, and support regular meetings with leadership to review financial status.

• Payroll & Human Resources Support Process contractor and employee payroll through ADP on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. Process W-2 and 1099 contractor payroll through ADP, post payroll journal entries, and manage monthly sales tax adjusting entries. Ensure that all employee benefit documentation is updated and applied properly to the payroll system.

• Vendor and Customer Support Maintain and communicate key data for all of the company's vendors and customers. Support vendor 1099 filings.

Direct Supervisor

This role will report directly to the company's Financial Controller.

Preferred Qualifications:

> Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)

> Project management experience in Procore

> Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures

> Proven knowledge of performance evaluation metrics in a business setting

> OSHA 30 certification

> In-office presence required (Monday-Friday)

Preferred Qualifications:

• General roofing knowledge and a basic understanding of construction
• 3 to 5 years project management experience

Requirements:

• A valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record
• Reliable transportation and must be able and willing to travel
• Ability to safely climb on to roofs using a ladder
• Results driven, ambitious, and a self-motivator
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
• Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 75% of the time, with some projects requiring long on-site durations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of appropriate experience
• Familiarity with construction work and terminology

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience working in a commercial roofing estimator role
• Strong basic mathematical comprehension
• Reliable transportation capable of carrying a ladder and be able and willing to travel
• Ability to safely climb onto roofs using a ladder

• Team-oriented personality, adaptable, and can also work independently
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; oral and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, estimating software, construction management, project scheduling software and databases

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in estimating costs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of commercial roofing and understanding of construction
• Previous experience in construction-related industry
