Established in 2019 by Lydia and Matthew Quartaro, the company was born from Matthew's desire to use and share his extensive experience in the roofing and construction industry, where he focused primarily on large commercial projects for over a decade. Driven by a vision to create his own enterprise, Matthew partnered with Lydia, who brings valuable expertise from various leadership roles in large corporations and who pushed the two of them to leave their steady careers and dedicate growing a new business full time. Their combined entrepreneurial spirit and innate affinity for building made their collaboration an ideal foundation for Mattco Roofing & Construction.

The company's journey started in a spare bedroom of their home near Houston, but it quickly became evident that a more centralized location was essential for sustained growth and success. In 2021, Mattco Roofing & Construction relocated to College Station, TX, where they continue to advance their vision of delivering exceptional workmanship and the most reliable roofing systems in the industry. From that foundation, Mattco has grown to serve commercial and multi-family properties across Texas including Houston, Austin, Waco, and the Dallas area, supported by the most talented team in the business.
